Success tip of the week
July 23rd, 2006 by AdministratorWhile developing Identity Management evaluation criteria, identify the top three or four technical stakeholders (business stakeholders are discussed separately) who have the most to gain. Often, this includes server team managers, database team managers, or compliance officers. These individuals can make or break an Identity Management program. Enlist their expertise in writing unit and functional tests, and ensure that they are available to run the tests for you during evaluation. If these key stakeholders can be convinced early on in the process, evaluations will run much more smoothly, and have a dramatically increased chance of buyoff after the tests.
