I ordered a digital product from the Store using the Google Checkout (TM) option, and I didn’t get my download email right away. What is wrong?
Google(TM) has a policy that for brand new accounts (users that do not yet have a verified Checkout Account), some accounts are subject to additional checking and verification. Links Business Group LLC has nothing to do with this process, we just simply receive confirmation note from Google Checkout when the account is verified. Verified payments and accounts always generate immediate download emails. If you do not receive your order within 24 hours, please email our order status address at “orders -at- linksbusinessgroup -dot- com” and be sure to include your order transaction number.
I ordered some printed books from the Store. When can I expect my books to arrive?
Books generally arrive between 10 days (in North America) and 20 days (outside of North America). All books are shipped USPS Standard Shipping from the U.S. Please note that all printed book orders are fulfilled via our printer, and we are not provided with tracking numbers. If your book order has not arrived within 20 days, please email “orders -at- linksbusinessgroup -dot- com” to check on the status.

Does Links Business Group provide implementation or contract services?
Yes. Typically, we deliver services in a formal consulting and architectural capacity, but perform contractual project work based on scope and need. We integrate with your project teams, and work closely with them throughout the project lifecycle to ensure all objectives are met.
What is the billing model and fee structure?
We use a value-driven, project-based billing model. We determine the overall business value of the project including the standard components such as time, materials, travel requirements (if applicable), duration, and scope. No two projects or clients are the same and each project is priced according to the value that Links Business Group delivers. Project fees are provided with every formal proposal.
How does the Links Business Group work with clients?
There are three categories of service delivery methods: Traditional, eConsulting, and hybrid. Traditional service delivery is typically provided by a combination of on-site and off-site delivery. eConsulting Services are delivered over the Internet for a set price. eConsulting services combine a variety of communications channels which include e-mail, telephone, fax, and Internet conferencing. eConsulting services are our preferred service delivery method, and generally provide the best value and pricing for your business. Hybrid services combine multiple service delivery methods to address complex client requirements.
Initial consultations are conducted over the phone and generally last 30-60 minutes. To schedule your complimentary initial consultation, please call us at +1 800 507 3480. During the initial consultation, we will work together to decide if our services are right for your business. There is absolutely no charge for the initial consultation. Please note that *all* consulting agreements are validated by phone regardless of whether or not an online request is placed. Project verification must be completed with the economic (check writer) representative of your company before commencing work.
On reaching verbal agreement regarding the nature, scope, and details of your project, we will submit a service proposal directly to your economic project sponsor within 48 hours. We will follow up on our proposal the following business day to answer any questions and move forward with the project. Throughout the project lifecycle, our consultants will work closely with your technical and managerial teams to ensure timely and successful completion.
How long will it take to complete the project?
Completion times vary by type, depth, breadth, client, and complexity of the project. Links Business Group specializes in high-value projects with specific timelines and delivery schedules. As a general rule, Identity Access Management (IAM) projects tend to take longer than other types of business and Strategic IT Projects, due to their broad scope and inherent complexity. For each Links Business Group Project, all details and time estimates are fully enumerated in a customized proposal.
What payment terms and methods are accepted?
Terms vary by project type, and the nature of our client relationships. New client projects are conducted on a fixed-price basis, and will require a down payment. Established clients engaged in large, ongoing architecture and integration projects may have the option of NET 15 or NET 30. One of the many benefits we offer over other companies is a flexible model. We accept most major credit cards, wire transfers, and business checks.
Does Links Business Group accept service retainers?
Yes. Service retainers, structured around our core offerings, are available in monthly, quarterly, or annual increments. Please contact us for details and pricing information.
Are service discounts available?
Yes. We encourage full pre-payment for our services, and provide a 10% per-project discount if you choose to pay the full project balance in advance.
Is source escrow protection available?
Yes. As advocates of industry best practices and standards-based solutions development, Links Business Group LLC provides full source escrow protection for any software tools that it develops on your behalf. Of course, there are exceptions for third-party software out of our control, or software that we may deploy for you that was not written by Links Business Group.
